How to Export a WhatsApp Chat
Follow the instructions below for iPhone (iOS) or Android devices. Takes under 30 seconds.
On iPhone (iOS)

Open the Chat & Tap the Contact NameOpen the WhatsApp conversation you want to analyze and tap the contact or group name at the top bar.

Tap “Export Chat”Scroll down to the bottom of the contact info screen and tap Export Chat.

IMPORTANT: Select “Without Media”When prompted with “Attach Media?”, always tap Without Media. This keeps the file small (.zip or .txt) and preserves your private photos.

Save to Files or ShareTap “Save to Files” or AirDrop to your computer. Then simply drop the file into Chat Verdict.
On Android

Tap the three dots (⋮)Open the chat, then tap the three vertical dots (More options) in the top-right corner.

Tap More → Export ChatSelect More, then tap Export chat.

Select “Without Media”Choose Without media. Without media, WhatsApp exports up to 40,000 recent messages as a clean .txt file (with media it is 10,000).

Save to Downloads or Google DrivePick Drive, Mail, Files or Add to Notes to send the file to yourself, then upload it here.
