How to Export an iMessage Conversation
Apple has no built-in export button for iMessage, so the easiest route is copying the conversation from Messages on your Mac. If you use an iPhone, turn on Messages in iCloud so your chats also appear on your Mac.
Method 1: Using Mac Messages App (Recommended)

Open Messages on macOSOpen the Messages application on your Mac and select the conversation with the person or group you want to analyze.

Scroll up to load previous messagesScroll back to load the range of conversation history you wish to evaluate.

Select All, Copy, then save as .txtClick inside the conversation, press
Cmd + A to select messages and Cmd + C to copy. In a new TextEdit document choose Format, Make Plain Text, paste, and save as .txt.
